Homepage Sections Management

The Homepage menu allows you to control what content appears on your site's main landing page and in what order.

What Are Homepage Sections?

Think of your homepage as a collection of building blocks. Each section is a different type of content display that serves a specific purpose. You can turn these on/off and rearrange them to create the perfect first impression for your visitors.

Available Section Types

Looking at the screenshot, you can see various section types:

  • Posts Magazine: Displays your latest blog posts in a magazine-style layout with large featured images
  • Posts Overlay: Shows posts with text overlaid on images for a modern, eye-catching design
  • Split CTA: A call-to-action section split into two parts, perfect for highlighting key messages (like 'Transform Your Digital Presence')
  • Posts Grid: Arranges posts in a clean grid format for easy browsing
  • Features Icons: Displays key benefits or features with icons (like 'Why Choose Us')
  • Posts Masonry: Creates a Pinterest-style layout where posts fit together like puzzle pieces

How to Manage Sections

Reordering Sections: Use the drag handle (six dots) on the left of each section to click and drag sections up or down. This changes the order they appear on your homepage.

Expanding/Collapsing: Click the arrow icon to expand a section and see its settings, or collapse it to save space.

Deleting Sections: Click the trash icon to remove a section from your homepage (don't worry, your content isn't deleted, just hidden from homepage).

Section Settings: Click the gear icon to configure each section's specific options like title, number of posts to show, display style, etc.

Best Practices

  1. Start with a Hero: Put your most eye-catching content (like Split CTA or Posts Overlay) at the top
  2. Mix It Up: Alternate between different layout styles to keep the page interesting
  3. Consider Mobile: Some layouts work better on mobile than others - test on different devices
  4. Don't Overload: 4-6 sections is usually optimal - too many can overwhelm visitors
